Wishing everyone here at ThePhins.com a truly wonderful and joyful and beautiful Christmas - and sincerely, may you know the good news of life and love that is the gift of God. "“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live;" There is no greater gift I have been given, nor could ever be given, than the all-encompassing, uplifting, joy and peace giving, life of God through His Spirit. It ties the beginning to the end and provides everything while putting all things in their place. It's unshakeable and overflowing. It is hope and fearless confidence and unstoppable joy. "The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.... ...For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." It is Jesus Christ. “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. I pray all of you will come to know Him as I do and even more so, and be filled with his Spirit and to know the incomparable love and freedom and grace that are in Him. “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the LORD, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”" Blessings to you all this Christmas! And if anyone is lonely or wants to reach out for a listening ear or whatever it might be, I'll be available on PM. God bless. G.
