Great another wash up.

 

I'm not too thrilled. Quinn Gray would have been a much better signing IMO. I wish they would have given him a work out. Unfortunately Indy just picked him up.

WoW now this speaks volume. I can't believe Parcells who practically released Quincy for his drug addiction will give him a try out, shows some of you guys Parcells is human.

Now to my theory, if Miami is trying out Quincy it shows you they are not happy with their QB position, and if it becomes more of a concern I could see them trying to pursue Dinosaur Farve. After All Sparano said today they were trying to turn every rock try to find someone that could help them.

Im might get hated for this, but as much as I wish Beck could become the next Marino it does not look likely and the last couple of days we have heard some real negative reports from the kid. Almost seems like McCown and Henne are outplaying him, our Quincy could be brought in to help elevate the competation.

 

Maybe Parcells will bring in Phil Simms next.

Parcells' love of familiarity is a little too much sometimes (and a bit worrying).

What the HELL for?

 

The guys will just recieve a tryout, it is not like he is being brought in to start. Some of you need to realize Parcells will not start Henne as a rookie unless he shows signs of the next Marino. McCown has outplayed Beck and maybe they have worries of Beck as a back up. Nontheless the QB positionjust got a whole lot more interesting.

If Dallas was not all over Chris Simms I would think if release we would try and give him a look. I honestly think that the coaching staff has seen something they dont like in Beck or McCown

 

I'm in the same boat. It seems random. I'd be surprised if we signed him with three QB's on the roster already.

 

Where has Carter been? working Taco Bell?

 

I'm guessing we just need another arm for training camp. I would prefer a different arm but its worst he only sticks for a month. ( I doubt he will make it past the tryout but we shall see)

Like I said alot of you are in shock, because we want John Beck to succeed. Let me remind some of you Ron Wolf has been at TC all week and he saw Beck play the last game of the regular season. Perhaps the old man has told Parcells he needs a QB if he wants a chance for this team to succeed, and dont be surprise if rumors of Farve to Miami begin.

To be honest the addition of Farve and Glenn would make this team a whole lot better. Atleast they would bring us Ws and Ws are all that count

 

For God's sake, its been five days of Training Camp.

We need to forget about Glenn and get Chris Henry in here. Can you imagine an offense that features Quincy Carter, Ricky Williams, and Chris Henry?

 

This definitely deserves a WTF response.

Hopefully, Parcells is just throwing Quincy a bone and trying to drum up interest for him around the league by offering him a tryout. That's the only thing that would make sense to me. If were seriously looking I'll puke.

Heck he had a small fan club on these boards with people stating he would end up pulling double duty as a starting QB and WR for us! Bonus!

 

If they dont feel good about their QB the time to bring in a QB is now. Enough time to learn the playbook and connect with the players. You dont want us bringing some guy in the middle of the season, like we have done in the past. It is incredible that we still have not found a Franchise QB. I think if we have a promising QB we would be thinking atleast 9 wins. We have a young powerful O-line, a Two headed Monster at RB, and young recievers waiting to emerge. Sucks after 13 QBs and multiples pick we still have not a QB

 

Just...wow....it's like someone pushed the "we suck" button and all the old Tuna players are now back on the menu.

Carter hasn't played football in years.
