I'll take Memphis. sort of funny they were the only team I didn't have in the final four, I didn't even have them getting to the elite 8...they have played so good, and rose is the best player in the nation..CDR is underrated, rose will dominate Chalmers, and Robinson like he did Collison..Memphis has great size over Kansas too.. So who you got??
Kinda rooting for Memphis to get their first title. I usually go for the underdogs when a favorite team is not involved. In this case I don't mean underdogs in the point spread sense but the small conference never won a title sense.
Im actually the only one in my pool that picked KU to win (out of about 30 people) so Itd be kinda nice to have some bragging rights. I think this is finally the game Memphis' free throw shooting comes back to haunt them.
Wow....not many takers here. Actually, I have been saying for 3 weeks that Kansas was the best team in the land..and that UCLA was over-rated....Guess for a change, I was actually right. Good to see Memphis in there as well.
Being from KY, I am rooting for Memphis, Kansas is third on the all time wins list behind NC and my wildcats, so I would like to stay out front, but that being said, our new coach BG, is a disciple of Bill Self and it would be good to see him have success too!
Memphis. Derrick Rose, welcome to the New york knicks (make it happen commish...just like you did with Ewing)
I picked Kansas before the tourney started, but Memphis has looked really good. I'll stick with Kansas but I think Memphis will pull it off.
From what I've heard their Free Throw shooting hasn't been too bad during the tourney? But I may be wrong.
Hasnt been a problem at all. They've actually done quite well from the 2 games I saw. But who knows when/if they'll revert back to there old ways.
well last game only Rose and Douglas-Roberts shot from the free throw line....It hasn't been a problem yet, hack-a-tiger.
Gotta take KU in this one, I'm pretty much required to root for them. Close game thus far tonight, though.
What a great game. Memphis was given every chance to lock this game up and they failed to do so and Kansas took advantage and they will be NCAA Mens Basketball Champions because of Memphis failing to make their free throws.
As anyone who every played basketball knows you dont fade away on shots...ESPECIALLY FREE THROWS! Goodness that was horrible. At least Rose realized what he did on the second one.
