In 07, Gaither and Oliver were good prospects, this is probably the deepest Supplemental Draft in years, at least since the 80's.
Just to keep it in the same thread: I'd be surprised if anyone used a 3rd round pick on Jarmon, especially a poor to mediocre team, IMHO he is more 6th/7th round material.
Star Fleet supple...err...wrong thread. The "Supplemental Draft" is for players who forego college eligibility to try to enter the NFL, sometimes "forego" means "suspended from team for..." A player who washes out in the classroom, or familial situations change, or what have you can apply to be added to the Supplemental Draft. Players like Jared Gaither and Chris Carter entered the NFL via the Supplemental Draft as well as Kosar.
I'd say no we aren't anglp, Sparano and Co. are fanatical about their workout regime and rep counts and film study, whomever we'd take is way way behind the curve and I doubt they would take up a roster spot and draft pick on a player that has not been in their system
