i read this on another board and thought'd i share it too, for you guys....

well anyways the tip is that if you can get a big mac for a dollar. at mcdonalds you can order the double cheeseburger for $1. the key thing is you get 2 free toppings with it. so if you add mac sauce and lettuce you just made the big mac! well almost, you get 2 pieces of cheese instead of one, but you dont have the bun in the middle...well anyway just thought i'd pass it. im pretty sure at least one person can save money doing this

and please dont come in here talking about how bad fast food is, i'm merely trying to help people save money. and with todays gas prices, any little bit helps:up:

Edit: This doesn't work at all mcdonalds, but it works at most. you still save around a dollar

Btw I only get the fish Fillet at McDonalds. Since they did away with the spicy Chicken :(

I use to do that when I'd walk to Taco Bell and get a 89 cent Chili cheese burrito. Ah good times those were.

I once did this at a Taco Bell and the manager saw me. He got really pissed and tried to charge me for a large despite me using a small cup. I said, "Nooooo, I'll pay for the small since that's what I have."

He took my 80 cents or whatever it was and gave me a dirty look.

lol i hope you never went back to that taco bell when he was working

Wow Aqua your not really that smooth

The cups they gave out at taco bell were kids size. It was a rush stealing 65 cents worth of soda.

Not trying to dog your thread, Felix, just wanted to point out my accomplishment. :D

By the way, I'm the only person I know that doesn't like Big Macs.

So wait ... you can get a Big Mac for a dollar, but not at McDonald's? I feel like I'm Billy Bob Thornton having a conversation with the kid in "Bad Santa."

I don't like Big Macs either. But I have been known to put away 3-4 Double Cheeseburgers in a sitting. Have to say that my fastfood consumption has gone down a ton this last year.

Holy crap! :sidelol:

Four double cheeseburgers = 1684 calories. That's NEARLY one day's intake. :sidelol::sidelol:

I'm sure the amount of Coke you consume with that oh so tasty sounding meal puts you over the 2000 daily recomended value. :wink2:

Been there dont that.....

Ive said it 1000 times if Ive said it once... How come the things that taste the best are always the worst things for you?

And how come the things that are healthy taste like cardboard?

Nature is a cruel little *******....
