If he is chosen in the 2nd round, it will be solely on a projection basis, he may be a great athlete, but he also is a late bloomer type. IE if he was that great a Te, why is he playing De? If he was a great De, why is he also starting at Te? If St Dic was playing would he still be playing De?
Taller Te's can sometimes not pan out Adam P, they have trouble getting away from the jams and their backs can sometimes go south on them, Dave LeFleur comes to mind, he was supposed to be Aikman's replacement for Novacek, he just never panned out. I do like his speed off of the corner the plays I watched him, he can really get up field, is he playing against Cheribus when he is in the game? BTW Ryan is stinking up the joint right now...
You're right on the tall TEs. His problem is he's kinda an underachiever his career. He took off his senior year. You need a no nonsense coach (or VP like Parcells lol) to stay on him to make sure he doesnt goof off. As for who he's going against I'm not sure because Ive been focusing on Ryan and will look at Cherilus later. I actrually think Ryan is playing well except for that sack/ grounding play where he stumbled ont he spin. He's had some nice throws. He has noone on that offense and is basically going to have to play by himself in this game
Silva with the Int, QB shouldn't have thrown the ball, Silva also looks pretty slow really, he may have a bum knee or something.. All American though.
