Rams need a quarterback with bradford out for the year. Maybe a chance to get a mid to late round pick

Rams only have $250,000 in cap space. Options seem limited for them given that.

Hence, they are working out FA Tyler Thigpen and the recently released Brady Quinn.

On the one hand this seems like a good idea.

On the other hand with the way the offensive line is playing, I consider it a near certainty that Matt Moore is going to be called on by the Dolphins this season.

On the other other hand, maybe we're not as much in the playoff hunt as we'd have liked to think...and so sprinkling in a little Pat Devlin instead of Matt Moore won't be that big a deal on a longer term basis.

They won't do it because let's be honest, they're not going to get past the three other teams above them in their division, even with a healthy Bradford. So what's the point of trading away a draft pick when they will be needing all the luck they can get in the coming draft?

That team needs to blow things up, do a firesale, and start over again. No where near Seattle's level, they're about 5 years away from getting to that point, and the same goes with the 49ers. Hell the Cardinals look much better than the Rams.

Every team is an offseason from competing for the title.

That's dramatic to say the least.

Who is the Bear's backup? They are in a more competitive spot, may be willing to pay a bit more, though Cutler isn't out for the year.

If we have learned anything from our rival the Bills is that having a decent backup is an absolute luxury. The rate at which Ryan is getting clobbered....Moore might have to finish the season at some point. Better Moore than Devlin.

I'd put Moore in now, and let Ryan have a rest.:pointlol:

On the other hand, Fisher said they won't be trading for any QB. Of course he could be lying.

Uhm no, have you seen how Seattle is built and they don't even have Percy back yet. Sorry no "one offseason" is going to make the Rams a title contender. If it was like that then what have we been doing for the past 3 decades?
