This one would make sense for both sides, the Redskins are currently hosting a retirement home for Rb's in their backfield, and the Bills are looking at starting Brian Brohm Day 1.

As long as it is not Haynesworth, I don't want that guy in the division, Campbell I can handle.

Campbell isn't a bad QB at all. He isn't a franchise guy either.

Middle of the road guy that will never reach his potential because of the lack of long-term coach.

Why would Washington want Lynch? They have Portis and just signed Larry Johnson. I could see Lynch going to Detroit for Drew Stanton maybe or out to Seattle. I doubt Haynesworth would end up Buffalo by the way simply because of the money aspect of it.

if campbell goes to the bills at least it guarantees the defense doesn't get fleeced for a 43 yard qb TD run.

i still cant believe we let that happen

They also just signed Willie Parker..... were you aware of that, Padre?

Can't see them adding yet another RB........especially when what they need now after the McNabb trade is draft picks.

Haynesworth is a turd. If he's not in a contract year, you have no reason to be afraid of him.

Besides, the Bills are moving to a 3-4, aren't they? Haynesworth doesn't want to play in a 3-4.

Three high mileage running backs JS, Portis has concussion issues and LJ was less than a 3ypa back in cinci, Parker was moved out of Pitt.

Lynch would probably be a better fit.

FWIW, I liked J Campbell, with Gibbs as the Coach they were a playoff team, bring in Zorn and the entire Organization nose dives, JC is slightly better than a 60% passer last yr and DC had to bring in Sherm Lewis midseason to salvage the offense...and he did..and he had not been in the NFL in 5 seasons and still did a fine job.

To me, that says JC with talented Coaching is a Starter in the NFL, the Bills would be getting a steal if they pulled off this trade.

    Based on what?

I'd welcome his arrival in Buffalo.
That guy won't upgrade them at all.
Campbell has problems reading defenses. He's slow in decision making and at this point I don't see that improving.

Didn't Shanny let Portis walk in his prime at Denver.I can see him doing it again this year too.
Portis is slow, always hurt, and done IMO.What's his YPC the last few years?Lynch I feel would be Washingtons best RB of the group,if they get him.Parker and Johnson HAD(see that last word) had great seasons in the past and nothing is guaranteed in training camp. Both of them need to prove they can still play, nothings set in stone...
Obviously,Shanny knows RB's and isn't afraid to let loose players that have run for 1,000 yards in the past.

The thing about that is, the Bills don't exactly have talented coaching.

Chan Gailey is not a bad Head Coach, he is sub .500 in the NFL, but he coached some garbage teams, the rest of his staff is green, but that makes them unknowns, not bad coaches.

I am glad that Bobby April is now in Philly though.
