Mark May's BCS Championship Darkhorse

This is gonna' be a great thread to revisit in a couple of months.

 

Who are the powerhouses in the ACC that'll keep Miami down? Clemson? VT? GT? FSU?

Amongst them only Clemson scares me. I believe Miami will at least be in contention for the ACC title. The BCS isn't too far away. With the enormous WR talent they brought in as well as the OL reports from training camp, I believe the offense will be vastly improved from last season.

It wont be easy for Miami. They need to pick a QB between Harris & Marve, as well as make sure their defensive line stays healthy. If they do those two things I think they'll win the ACC coastal division & play against Clemson from the atlantic division. Now do they beat Clemson? No idea. But if Miami didn't at least go to the ACC championship this season, I will severely disappointed.

 

Remember I'm not only a Vol fan but I attend UT...so I'm not that smart.

I can understand all those teams but SC and Bama, they will not be better than UT. The others maybe but not them. I'll go ahead and say it SC and Bama are overrated. Also I agree some starters are gone but there are some guys on the team that will be considered "superstars" next year.

Also like I said before the Vols can get distracted and play badly but if they keep their heads on straight they will compete with Florida/Georgia for the SEC East title. Only time will tell.

 

In time all doubters will be silenced.

So many 1 loss teams this yr. I dont think Oklahoma belongs in the championship game.

 

They are on a very short list of teams who deserves it.
