okay, i only have the money to get one of these games.....based on what you know about each game which would you buy??
I tend to play NCAA much more, though last year I actually think I like Madden more. That was the first time since Vick was on the cover that it was even close .
I usually pay madden more, because I love doing the draft and stuff in the franchise. However last year I really got into the dynasty mode, and recruiting and that in ncaa. I usually like madden more because i love playing as the phins, against the rest of the nfl and stuff... but if you like more variety, then go with NCAA because you'll get a heck of alot more teams to play with. If you like them both, I don't think you can go wrong really. It comes down to do you want 30 some NFL teams, or the whole whack of teams NCAA gives you to play with.
I tend to favor NCAA as well but this year I am passing on it. NCAA 08 was a lot of fun but a lot of the problems (superman linebackers) seem to be present on the new version. Plus when is EA going to learn that you need FCS teams back in the game. I'd give the nod to Madden this year if you have to get either one. I may evry well end up passing on both. edit: I also forgot how much I hated The recruiting system this year in NCAA08. The simpler one in 07 was 1000000x better.
Can always wait for the Madden demo to come out. Or buy and Trade in? I think Gamestop is runnin a promo... let me look bro.
http://www.gamestop.com/gs/specialty/tradeins/ Trade in NCAA 2009 (360, PS3, Wii) toward the reservation or purchase of Madden 2009 and receive $40 TIC, $30 for Wii version. Offer expires 7/20/08. Trade value amount must be applied toward reserve/purchase of Madden '09. Trades must be in full working condition to receive full value. Offer not valid toward cash trades. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Trade-ins subject to manager approval. Some exclusions may apply. See store associate for details. No dealers. I don't see why it expires on 7/20 though- makes no sense.
hm that would be good i could see if i like ncaa if not then i only lose 20 dollars but it expires to soon...
Madden. From early reports by people who were at both community days they said NCAA doesn't hold a candle to Madden this year.
I tend to go NCAA because it's usually better but maybe this is the year Madden finally gets back in the saddle (if it was ever there to begin with). I just like college a bit more because well, I kinda know personally some of the people I play as (except for Chauncey, I can't ever play as $C).
