LOST - Season 4

I have to say, last night's TV viewing sucked ass for me.
1. Supernatural had a bad finale (cool ending, but bad overall)
1. Smallville had an awful finale too.
3. The office was good, but not even close to best episode of this year.
4. Lost was average
Although I didn't like the episode as much as last weeks, it did move the pieces into position for a great finale (hopefully, Lost always seems to deliver).
I'm really sick of Jack's superhero complex. I hope Locke puts him in his place once and for all. I imagine he does because of the "We gotta go back!"
Ben and Hurley have some good dialog together...
And of course "Jesus is not a weapon!"

I loved Hurley's reaction to Ben saying there was an elevator in the Orchid.
"Wait........what??"
I like how Sawyer is protective of Hurley, its like his sidekick.
Your right though, LOST ALWAYS delivers with their Finales.

Anyone seen this video? Warning, MAJOR spoilers involved.

I'm NOT watching it.. .in fact I probably won't post here in the next two weeks simply because I don't want to have ANY idea of what is going to happen in the season finale... see you all in two weeks!
Twitter @Silver_Hornet (follow me and I'll follow you, just let me know who you are on here!
Yeah I'm definitely staying away from any spoilers after last year's finale being spoiled.

Interesting video. Sort of spoilerish, but as with anything, leaves more questions then answers...
Weren't we supposed to get an answer on the 4 toed foot statue already?

Perhaps with the others appearing and the orchid station we might...

Don't worry, that video isn't a spoiler on the episode, just an easter egg, pretty cool. Check it out.
So I'm not fully caught up yet but does anyone else think the FF are killing the suspense of the show?

Why would the Fantastic Four kill the suspense of the show? :tongue2:
One thing that has been bugging me was the Yi Jeon episode. now that was a twist but why is Jin dead but he really isn't and doesn't remember anything?

The Jin scenes were a flashback. The Sun scenes were a flashforward.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Horrible :(
I was wondering why the Cell Phone was so old.
The need to solve the biggest mystery on the island
Why is Faraday still wearing a tie:sidelol:
Well after 15 years Bettman lets hockey come back to Winnipeg. Thanks for wasting 15 years
When they first announced the new episodes after the strike they said one of them would be a Richard episode. Obviously we haven't had that yet and he just re-signed with the show and was in last week's for the first time in awhile. Doesn't look like its gonna happen though cause the finale most likely will continue to show the Oceanic 6 after the rescue. They still might throw some scenes in there though. A flashback episode for him would tell us more about the island, and probably the 4 toed statue.
Looks like we have a full cast for the finale
Episode Detail: There's No Place Like Home - Lost
As the fourth season comes to a close, the face-off continues between the survivors and the freighter people, and the Oceanic 6 find themselves ever closer to rescue. Walt: Malcolm David Kelley. Michael's Mom: Starletta DuPois. Richard Alpert: Nestor Carbonell. Christian Shephard: John Terry. Penny: Sonya Walger. Charles Widmore: Alan Dale. Dr. Marvin Candle: Francois Chau.

BTW ... Kate heard Claire's mom talking to Jack. They shared a "WTF?" moment of eye contact after she left.
Great episode. This season has definitely been the best since the first. Amazing avalanche of lies from the Oceanic Six. I was firmly convinced Jin lives until this episode. Now I'm not sure. Loved her taking it to her old man.
Also ... sorry I obviously misread the trailer for this week.

I think it goes 1, 2, 4, 3.
I too think Jin dies. I hate it though, he's a great secondary character.

Agreed on both accounts

I read an article in the New York Post that they are abandoning the 4 toe statue plot because ABC said it was just too weird. I'll look for the article......got it: http://www.tvsquad.com/2008/03/20/abc-says-that-four-toed-lost-statue-was-too-weird/
They may never revisit the 4 toed statue, which is a shame
If you type '4 toed statue ABC' in Google, you'll see all the hits for this story.

Hmmm...Interesting.
However, that article is dated March 20th before the strike. When they announced the new episodes after the strike they said we would get some answers about the statue. Who knows, I find it hard to believe they would just abandon such a big twist. ABC needs to leave the writers alone.

Actually, having read the story and the quote from Lindelloff to which it refers, he never says they won't revisit it, simply that they got a note from ABC saying it was too weird and asking them to switch it to a six toed statue.
that video about the orchid is interesting to say the least, sucks we gotta wait another week for the episode
Some different ideas I read about last weeks show. Here are the 4 best IMO
Did you notice the O6 were rescued on day 108! Just like the button in the hatch had to be pressed every 108 minutes. Coincidence... I think not!! Does the island some out reset itself every 108 days? Crazy
The lady who went back to tell the Oceanic 6 that they are the Oceanic 6.....did anyone notice that on her way back to them from the ****pit, she nodded to someone in between and said hello? Who was that? Why didn't we see them and what was the point of that exchange? It has to be someone we know. Someone coming back who was no on the plane, therefore not one of the 6? Desmond I hope? Juliet? Ben? One of the boaties? I can't help but think that nod and hello was put in there for a reason.
I've read a lot of people on here saying the device on Keamy's arm is a detonator, but I think it's a detonator that monitors his heart rate. Should his heart stop beating the freighter would blow. That's why Keamy warned the captain not to shoot him last week. It would be a nice insurance policy to keep Ben from getting a hold of the freighter.
Remember in the Nikki & Paolo episode when in her flashback she was an actress in a television show and was told that they were going to reveal a major villain at the end of her show's fourth season? It's the end of Lost's fourth season.
