Lost in the excitement; running game continues pedestrian streak

While I'm truly happy about the aggressiveness we've shown at times I still feel that we swing to much either one way or the other. Yes everyone is inviting us to beat them with the pass but we need to run some also. Case in point. At the end of the game with over a minute to go it would have been great to see us use the run to run off a little more time but no they had Penny take a knee. Why???

As for BM the best way to solve that problem is to keep him off the field.!!

 

Despite the three wins, three of the four losses make your head spin. Inability to run the ball has been the main reason ( the Cards game was just an ole fashioned butt-whupping in all phases of the game).... the fact is that this team is still dealing with a lack of overall talent. You don't replace 7 yrs of bad drafting and poor personnel moves in one offseason. Even with what has transpired, it looks like we've wasted another $6 mil in salary and roster spot...

We simply are not as good as most teams yet...6-10 still looks like a successful year to me and probably attainable, even given the euphoria over the wins...like this one...
