http://uflaccess.com/ufl/former-1st-round-quarterback-jp-losman-rumored-to-be-heading-to-las-vegas/ Not sure if I should laugh or cry. Heck, this might be a wrong forum for this anyway But Chris had a solid point saturday night (For those who are blind and deaf...the best sports radio show every sat night from 10-12pm est, with the greatest hosts on eaeeeeeeeeeath!) anyway, like i said, chris had a valid point that if UFL will try to "suck up" to NFL it might be good for them. They very well might end up being the Dleague for NFL.
Losman isn't on anyone's roster? He's been a bit of a disappointment, to be nice, but I'm kind of surprised no one would want him at all, he did show some promise.
Here's a list of even more players who tried out. Some of the highly skilled players who participated in the workout included Quinn Gray, David Boston, Travis Taylor, Reche Caldwell, Bobby Sippio, Jermaine Wiggins , LaBrandon Toefield, Oliver Celestin and many others. http://www.ufl-football.com/
whoa whoa whoa...what rock have i been hiding under... what the hell is this UFL, and why are there all these ex-pro coaches there? wtf? they must have some budget.
Having said that...maybe this whole experience is exactly what Losman has needed FOREVER to achieve the maturity to go along with his physical skills.
I never thought much of Losman. I never got what the big deal was with him. He never looked like anything special and I was surprised when the Bills took him and expected him to be their starting QB. Trent Edwards made alot more sense for them and he looks like the real deal despite having an uneven season last year, I think having TO will help him tremendously. But Losman was never that good, even having Peerless Price and Eric Moulds.
I really wish him well honestly. Aside from being a Bill, I like him. He's goofy but he seems to be high character (from what I've seen) and I really like his physical tools.
Find it strange that the UFL will kick off in October. Thought they would have tried to play it in the summer, with people starved for football. Instead of trying to compete with the NFL and college ball.
