Lorenzo Neal has signed with tha Baltimore Ravens. Link http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/football/bal-ravens812,0,811785.story
McGahee's stock just went up. Neal's blocked for some of the best RB's in recent history and if he's got anything left in the tank, he's a huge pickup.
Yea bro he should be good for Willis McGahee. Lorenzo Neal will block good and he can punch it in on short yardage attempts and he will help keep Willis McGahee healthy.
Andre Pinnock and Mike Tolbert are the Chargers' two fullbacks and I am guessing Pinnock will be starting. Linkage: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/teams/roster?team=sdg
i love lorenzo neal. one of the best FBs ever. no wonder RBs that run behind him usually wind up having 1,000 yard seasons.
Yes he is but he is listed as an RB. I'm going off ESPN so who knows because I'm not an expert on the Chargers.
the chargers also drafted devin hester out of lsu who is a bit of a tweener but he looked good the other night.
I wonder if they keep LaRon McClain on the roster as well. It'll be interesting to see what they do between the two. I'm not sure if Neal will stick with the Ravens though. The Chargers let him go because of the leg injury I think. As for the Chargers, Pinnock is expected to be the starting FB. I believe Hester will split time at FB and RB.
As well they should be. He's the future. WM is the now and soon to be forgotten. He's coming off yet another injury.
Willis McGahee should be less likeli to get injured this year because he will be sharing the carrys with Ray Rice and Lorenzo Neal is blocking in front of them now to so he should be ok this year.
Old, and wheels aren't there like they used to be. He is being re-united with Cam Cameron who was the offensive coordinator with the Chargers when Neal played there.
Only reason is because McGahee is down right now and could be out the first two weeks of the regular season. I think its more of attitude than work ethic. McGahee has been a headcase in the locker room and he tries to run the team like Ray Lewis does in Baltimore. That won't last long with Harbaugh there though. If he keeps running his mouth, he'll be a goner as soon as Rice proves to the team he can handle the workload. If Rice does start the first couple games of the regular season and impresses, I wouldn't be surprised to hear McGahee's name pop up in trade talks next off-season. Yeah, I think you hit it on the head here. Cameron always brings along his guys. However, I don't expect them to carry two Fullbacks on the roster. LaRon McClain is a good Fullback.
you are correct...iv'e been doing that alot lately and that is probly due to being out in the sun too long.
