What's going on ThePhins.com board members? As you can see, my names Brandon and I'm 18 years old living in the beautiful city of Toronto. I've been a Dolphin fan since 2002 and have loved every minute of it. I've been browsing these boards since 2007 and decided to become a active poster. Anyways, I hope to see you guys around and maybe one day soon see some of you at Dolphin Stadium one day!
Welcome Brandon, So you live in Toronto? I live in the states but am strongly considering moving to Toronto within a year.
Welcome brandon. Stick around; this is a great place to be if you're a Dolphin fan. You'll find a fantastic group of fans here.
Hey Jackson, I lived in Toronto for nine years and moved 15 minutes from the city to a town of near 100,000. Toronto's a great place to live, lots a great entertainment, food and scenery. The summers are great as well. Damn winters kill me though They aren't any worse then a place like Chicago or Buffalo. But they are more mild than Minnesota, it's crazy cold up there! Thanks hammerbillsfan, did you go the Bills/Dolphins game at the RogersCentre last season? I plan on it, from reading the past few years I can tell there are some great people around here!
Welcome Brandon. You have chosen the best site anywhere. These are good people here. The very best admins. and mods, bar none. So kick back and make yourself at home.
oh yes I am...Google spell chek is my frend so tell me sir.. what brought you to the Miami Dolphins at such a young age, were you down here for a visit, your Dad.. your moms brother, crazy uncle Larry? no matter, I am impressed. You've seen some really bad times and are still here with us, well done. I became a Dolphin fan at age 11 too.. well, maybe 12, at 11 we might have still been voting on the name. We had to wait 4 years for the George Wilson country club to fold when some greasy haired kid named Shula took over. We went to the playoffs his first year too. Great year, first ever win over the raiders and jets back to back, crushed buffalo in the season finale for a playoff berth. There was an excitement in the air after that year.. it was palpable.. it had substance.. we KNEW good things were coming. Just like now.. same sort of feeling. Sparano said it all.. "we don't want to just win, we want to dominate." Good times are around the corner, glad you joined us for the ride..
No I did not. Too much money for tickets, I can go to a Bills game in Buffalo with parking/tailgating/drinking for less.
Welcome Brandon. Any questions about the site just shoot a PM my way. Thanks for finally making yourself known around here.
As most kids at that age, you fall in love with the logo and uniform. Something about that Dolphin logo has had me hooked the day I started following football. I've been in love with the Dolphins ever since, and always will be. If I can live through a 1-15 seasons I'll live through anything
You are right about that! LOL I lived in St. Catharines for 4 years, spent a lot of time up in TO, coming from the Caribbean the winters were awful but now living in MN I am exposed to crappy winters I realize that the TO winters are mild! Welcome to the site, it is a great place and there are amazing people I am proud to call friends here! Cheers paul
St. Catharine's is a fun party toen, though. Well, if you're at Brock. I'm from T.O. myself, Brandon. I think I fell in love with Mimai partially because of Marino, and partially because of the tropical weather. We used to vacation in Florida and I loved the allure of the tropics. A shame I moved to LA instead of Miami, but the work is here. I hope to see my Phins in person some day. Welcome to the boards, bud. Glad to see the Dolphins have hooked another Canadian fan. Best franchise in the world.
