Does this mean the Jets are becoming the new Bucs... where old players go to finish there careers.

I hope they sign him. Another old guy who will ruin their cap and prove to be washed-up after a year or two.

Jets are only $7-9 million over right now and I believe the cap is going up a little, but even if it doesnt, losing Brett (which will happen) deduct $13 million off of that already. Then we are probably going to part ways with Brian Thomas ($4-6 million), Laveranues Coles ($5 million) and David Barrett ($2-4 million).

Jets will go out get either Lewis or Scott along with S Jim Leonhard, from Baltimore.

Other than that they won't make a big Free Agent splash though.

Or maybe they'll just get Leonhard and draft an ILB.

    Time will tell.

    I bet you would.

He probably will at a reduced salary.

And then we will go 8-8 after a 7-1/6-2 start. :pointlol: :pointlol: :pointlol:
