SF was horribly overrated. That was a head scratcher for me, trying to figure out what people saw in them. You would've thought they had Peyton Manning at QB the way people hyped them. Alex Smith is a bottom tier QB.
That is what I mean by winning upfront, the Bills just have not won enough battles, toss in a dead slow Lb corps and it is no accident that they are what they are right now. They really should have signed Charlie Anderson just to add some athleticism. That and why in the heck did they try to feed the ball to David Nelson with 3 minutes to go? Gailey is not a very good HC imho.
I think the Bills never beat the Dolphins for a whole decade 70's EDIT: Now this is domination. http://www.profootballhof.com/history/release.aspx?release_id=2970 WE ARE GOING FOR GAME 4 tonight lets keep this new streak alive
I remember during the Bills Super Bowl (losing) years that they beat the Jets a bunch of times in a row. I think they broke the streak with Browning Nagle as QB. Browning Nagle! Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, James Lofton, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith....they killed the Jets.
Killed thephins as well Bro, that was a team full of hall of fame players. Cornelius Bennett, Mark Kelso, Steve Tasker.
Christ, I hated them....and the one time I wanted them to win, against the Giants, they choked. sent from my kick azz phone
Team plays harder, now FWIW I think Gailey or the offensive coordinator is more or less responsible for the loss simply because they asked Fitzy to do things he is not good at doing. His two picks were on longer passes when he did not have to throw the ball, and the 2nd int was when Fitzy was trying to get the ball to Nelson down the field. Why? There was plenty of time left, Fitzy will sail a pass, why not dink and dunk in that situation? Why have Lynch in the backfield and not Spiller?
