Martin has a big job to do today and SF DEs have gotten the best of some of the better LTs in the league this year and last year. So, lets all realize Martin is still a rookie and has just switched back to his natural position he played in college. Lets just say he is going to get beat today and it will be more then once so after the game lets not be too hard on the kid because both Smiths from SF are pretty dam good.
No pass issued here he is a professional. Real question is how many times will Cam Wake be held. I bet we get at least 6 and at 3 that would have no doubt resulted in a sack. If we took all the crap he has endured this year he may as well broke the all time sack record
Sad to say but thats what happens when a team does not have a winning record. The Refs look the other way. If we were 8-4 it would be entirely different. Flags would surely fly then when Wake was held. Been that way with the Refs in regards to losing teams for a loooooong time.
Kid did not do too bad today. Now IF we had playmakers or an offensive co ordinator that is not in la la land. Yeah if we had some playmakers OK but you do not go for four long passes in a row where we were with that much time left. Move the ball Sherman you putz. No, he goes for the juglar too early and much too often. Anyway, Jon Martin did a decent job considering everything. Garner too. Lane still shows he does not belond in the NFL unless your former coach gives you a break. Thomas is not seen, and Miller I guess was drafted to sit on the bench. Just blowing off steam. IMO, was not a bad football game against one of the better teams in the NFL Oh yeah, our defense is sloooooooooooow. You can time our LBers with a sun dial. Our corners too, hey, throw in the safetys while I am at it LOL.
