Well, by now everyone who is interested in the draft has seen the various Mock Drafts featuring McCoy or Suh, Suh or McCoy, Bradford or McCoy or Suh.

How about a Reverse Mock, or "late round mock" or a Garbage Mock draft?

Miami has had decent success in with the later round picks so far with Don Thomas, C Clemons, Lex Hilliard, all making some contributions if not starting games for the Dolphins.

The later picks, rds 5-7, are relied on to produce depth or development players, but I think a bit better than that can be done this year:

    Miami's late round picks:

    #176
    #177
    #182
    #223

I've seen some mocks that have Miami being granted a #5 compensatory pick, but that is not reliable, I found the above pick order here.

    #176..Terrel Hudgins Elon, 6'2 236 http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=68230&draftyear=2010&genpos=WR

    #177..Cameron Sheffield..http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=75031&draftyear=2010&genpos=OLB

    #182..Lamarr Houston DT Texas...http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=65430&draftyear=2010&genpos=DT

    #223..John Conner FB, KY....http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=76979&draftyear=2010&genpos=FB

As a trend every year in Dallas Ireland took 1 DB in picks 5-7, in 08 he did not, in 09 he took Clemons, so as a DB pick I'll go with Terrell Whitehead from Norfolk State at #223.

Now I'll admit the fact that if a quality TE is available later in the draft, they will pull the trigger, but the g uy I liked for later in the draft, Andrew Quarles will be off the board.

Now for the fun, a couple of players I'd like to see picked up as UDFA's:

Marcus Crump, St Augustine..6'6 240, dominated in ultra small college football.

Kelvin Rogers..Uof M Mankato..Db who returns kicks, at the worst he would be great ST competition in camp.

All in fun of course, here is a Draft Value board if anyone wishes to create their own "garbage pick" mock draft:
