Landry throws the football in the defender's face because he "disrespected him" by stepping over him after the play. Then he charges the guy throwing punches and tries to go after him a 3rd time a moment later. I'm not sure what religion he is, but that must be how you "bless someone" for making you more competitive.
I can see your tweet just fine and Galant's tweets too. Are you viewing this site at work? You might have a block.
Nope, it's my home computer with Google Chrome browser. It's stuck on "loading Tweet" and never actually renders.
All the actions and body language in that video is eerily similar to the one CK Posted with him and his ex girlfriend confrontation. Slot boy is a punk
Seems the way Landry is struggling to forget about Miami, Miami fans are struggling to forget about Jarvis. Ahhhh, breaking up is hard to do.
I half-way figured it out- your tweets load via Flash and Google Chrome doesn't run Flash anymore without permission. I adjusted the settings (again...I've done it several times) and the browser window is accepting Flash from the site, yet Chrome is giving me a popup that Flash is still being blocked at the same time. So there's some kind of internal conflict in Chrome itself that is messing people up.
I'm using Chrome with no trouble seeing all the tweets. Maybe first update the browser. I'd also clear out all cache (use CCleaner for that) just in case. You might want to manually remove all cookies to this site (remember your password first lol) just in case there's a conflict there from previous browsing. But Chrome itself isn't the issue if it's working with mine (worst case.. use a different browser just for the tweets lol).
Is this new? Because this is a perfect burn, one that would definitely strike a nerve with him. I like it.
I've done everything BUT clear cookies...which I don't like to do because it means I have to re-enter all my client's usernames and passwords. I can see if it will let me manually dump cookies just for here though. It is a Chrome issue though because it's giving me the small popup that Flash is being blocked. As soon as I tell it to stop, I can see all the Tweets. That's the weird thing- it will load some but not others. Sometimes I don't get any, sometimes half the page loads, etc.
Yeah clear cookies ONLY for this site. Settings -> (advanced) -> Content settings -> Cookies -> See all cookies and site data. Then search for phins.com. Well again it works for me.. so it's something in your browser's memory or settings. Anyway, like I said you can just download another browser just to see tweets if this takes too much time.
Not caring who the receiver is, whether or not he plays(ed) for this team or not, there was nothing in that video that warranted Landry's actions. "He stepped over me"? Watch the video and you see they were both going full speed. Stopping on a dime isn't that easy. And as has already been pointed out, another 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Um, I think that one would have carried an ejection as well if it were actually a game. As a player you really can't do much worse than what we see in the video. If I were Cleveland's coach, I would pull a Gase move and tell Landry that he's not getting on the bus/plane this week- he needs to stay home and think about what he's really playing for. They don't need him for the 2nd pre-season game anyway, so why not make it a learning moment?
Thanks for that- I cleared this site's cookies and it didn't improve, then I dumped all cookies and it still hasn't changed anything....some Tweets show, some don't (and it's not the same ones each time....it seems to be blocking them randomly). As soon as I give it permission to run Flash (which it already has by default), most of the remaining Tweets load instantly. It's not a big deal since training camp has ended; it's just one of life's seemingly unsolvable frustrations. I'll take your earlier advice though and just use Firefox or something different next season when Galant is Tweet-heavy. Thanks again!
WTF? This has been the wierdest day! And then I sit down with my first, OK second but it was one continuous pour, log on to the olde laptop and next thing I know I'm on a Cleveland Browns website. I HAVE to get another bag of that ish!
Tough guy with a helmet on. All these football players. Go play hockey where you are held accountable for your actions and see if you start fights.
I thought it fit, he’s immature like a boy would be, and he can’t play on the perimeter regardless of what he tries to convince everyone..
Do you have an anti-virus plug-in running in Chrome? Try disabling it - and/or other plugins to ensure they aren't blocking anything.
Landry is in full diva mode now that he got paid. He'll be on ESPN's 40 for 40 in 20 years living under a bridge.
i mean it was a little too much for me, but scuffles like this happen all the time in camps in pretty much every camp. but was a little childish about stepping over him who knows maybe they were jawing way before this and this was the last straw for juice.
He’s also getting RAVE reviews nationally for his play thus far. Nobody wants to talk about that around here, and that’s really what matters for a football player.
I watched the 2nd episode of Hard Knocks the other night and the coach can't stop yelling at people for giving zero effort in practice. I agree with you that Tyrod and Landry are probably good for a few wins on their own, but I don't see them doing too much more than that overall. I would guess 2-14 at this point....but I'll update that in a few weeks as the rest of pre-season unfolds.
They can rave review all they want... Let's see if it makes a difference in the win column. I don't think Landry moved the win needle all that much in Miami, I don't see it happening in Cleveland, especially if he's the #1 there. But, hey, I'm just some guy on a message board, perhaps the coaches know better than me.
Also, let's not pretend that everyone on here was pro Landry, then he left, and then everyone turned on him. Fact is many of us were saying since the beginning of last season that we wanted to resign Landry, but at a reasonable rate as he's simply a slot receiver. Then after he was gone, we see the ridiculous contract and the diva behavior, and we start finding out about the kind of player he was in the locker room, and we just realize how much better off we are without that. We finally saw who Landry actually is.
You have notoriously stated (and I actually agree for the most part) that "Wins are not a QB stat". Do you think it is now fair to hold W's and L's on a Wr who has MUCH MUCH less impact on the game?
He caught almost 50% of the team's passes, which in my mind makes him the most responsible piece on offense. There are plenty of other factors (coaching, defense, blocking, play calls, etc) but if you're going to name one guy from Miami that had the most impact on our record, it has to be Landry by default.
