The Jets defense without Kris Jenkins is not very good, I'm going to watch that situation like a hawk.

The Jets have -0- depth, as in none, if Jenkins and Woody are out they are in deep kimchi..

I remember when River came out they said he threw a "Heavy" ball wonder if sanchez throws "light" balls...supposedly heavy throwers do well in the elements.

Kris Jenkins more than likely has an ACL.

FWIW, I liked Jenkins and thought he was a class guy on a team that sometimes was not so classy:

The word is that the Jets players believe Kris Jenkins is done for the year but there is no confirmation.

wow.....losing Jenkins was much bigger than losing that game. That's a shame, he's a hell of a player.

I think D Woody is also seriously hurt as well, just my gut on that one, but he was rolled up and it was bad.

That defense is predicated on the NT/DT getting penetration, guys like that are impossible to find this late into the season, the Jets are also paper thin from trading draft picks for a "win now" attempt.

Anyone think they could look at Glenn Dorsey?

I feel bad for him. A tough guy and a man of a football player. Has more class than most of his teamates combined

As nice as it is to know other teams are losing weapons, never enjoy seeing injuries, especially severe ones like this. Well unless to a Patriot ...

Wonder what kind of impact this would have on Jenkins career. This isnt the first major knee injury hes had is it? I dont know his age though.

Really too bad. As has been repeatedly stated, one of the very best NT's in the league, and without a doubt, by far, one of the best guys on the team.

The Jests are indeed paper thin across the line, and Glenn Dorsey is not a replacement. Way way too small and completely wrong type of Tackle.

They are going to need a NT/DT who can penetrate and Dorsey is the only one on the market afawk, but they gave up a mint for Braylon Edwards including some depth players, but that just means they have to decide if they are in win now mode and willing to pay for Dorsey, or not and willing to stand pat.

Jets FO is aggressive though, wouldn't surprise me.

Mike Greenberg is going to be suicidal tomorrow morning.

    PFT reporting.

EDIT - Something to think about here. Statistics show on average, NFL teams lose two to three games yearly because of injuries. This one is a significant one. Shall we start tallying the losses?

Even if the ligament is sprained, I imagine with a guy his size it would take longer than average for him to recover.

Man, I absolutely LOVED Dorsey coming out of college, but he doesn't fit the mold of what Sexy Rexy needs in the middle at all.
Can you imagine what our running game is gonna be like next time we play them

Why don't they just get Rex Ryan to put on black Under Armour and slap on the 77 jersey to play nose tackle? You can't tell the difference.
