something is missing with Locker. I think it might be a killr instinct or something. Just seems like he gives up too easily. I remember Cutler on Vandy had a horrible offense but never gave up. Locker looks like he goes through the motions sometimes
Locker has the X Factor IMO. I'm not sure I rule Kaepernick out just yet. He needs a LOT of coaching but he is very mobile and has an elite arm. I also think he's more accurate than Young.
He has a gun for an arm I give him that, and when he is on he can hit a dime from 70 yards away. The problem is he is so inconsistant with his accuracy.
Yep, he is. But I think teams will like the arm and the mobility enough to give him a look as a project
Whats amazing to me is that he often makes a great read of the defense before he throws....and he just flat out misses. He has a LOT of upside if someone can get him consistant.

Patrick Robinson, Kyle Wilson, Ras-I-Dowling, Sydquan Thompson, Brandon Ghee and the kid at Kentucky are, IMO, better corners.
I mean seriously......it's not even close to being anything else. Never have I seen a guy ranked in the top 10 of a pre-draft list who gets beaten so consistently.
Thompson is the best in the class IMO. Kyle Wilson can play very well too. Great closing burst but I've seen him run away from ball carriers in the past, which is odd because he can get physical with WR's. How about Carlos Dunlap? So up and down. Too many people are looking at potential over production IMO.
Yep. Dunlap is another. Never seen him make a play. He looks sweet in that uni, but making plays? Not so much.
Love Brandon Ghee. Love him. Could be the best out there, not sure yet but I also like your boy Sydquan. Dowling is an enigma but that kid can play.
Yeah, I think it's an underrated group. Sydquan is small, but aggressive and a good leaper. Plus he can play man. As can Patrick Robinson. I'm impressed with him on a bad defense. He can trail, has good catch up speed and isn't afraid to throw himself in. Ghee has great speed but also some legitimate ball skills.
Ghee impressed me as much or more than Alphonso Smith when they were playing together. I've been enamored with him since. I'm not as sure about Robinson. He also looks small to me. I like Ghee the best, but I think Dowling could be the guy that explodes into being the #1 CB drafted. He's enigmatic to me but VERY gifted.
Kiper's New Board with a lil info ... Two new players jumped onto the board this week. One is Derrick Morgan from Georgia Tech, who has been impossible to block all season. He could have been here sooner, but I wanted to wait until he was solidly up the Big Board, and thus far more likely to look toward the NFL after his junior season. The other name I added is Dan Williams, who has been moving up on my charts all season. Williams has impressed me with his relentlessness, and also his ability to make big plays against top teams. Alabama couldn't block him. A couple drops include Greg Hardy -- he was 25th last week, so the additions hurt him -- and Terrence Cody, who I feel less and less is the next great run stopper. I think he'll need to be able to do more, and that could be a problem. 1 Ndamukong Suh DT 6-4 300 Analysis: Explosive, relentless and consistent. I would say Mays is not undisciplined but rather that he has trouble reading patterns. He seems to get confused which player is his responsibility. I think it says more about his intelligence on the field than anything about his play.
thanks for posting. these are some of the better lists ive seen so far. good to see. looks like people are finally adjusting their lists to whats happening on the field
One guy who looks vastly overrated to me out there is Patrick Robinson. I'm no fan of anything Florida but Joe Haden looks like a vastly superior player to me. Haden is smooth in coverage flips his hips well. When Robinson is asked to turn and run his technique looks sloppy and he seems to lose his guy. I like Sydquan more then either but when I watch Robinson he looks like a workout warrior type who is really a third round prospect at best.
I'm not a big fan of Patrick Robinson but I'm also not a fan of Joe Haden. I think they're both overrated. Haden is a midget and allows way too many receptions and yards.
I gotta say, it's pretty asinine to try and predict who will go when this early and with this many games left in the NFL season. Teams' final records are not written in stone, and so team needs have not been determined yet. Oh well, leave it up to ESPN to do this kind of stuff this early on, and it might as well be New Year's or next February in ESPN's calendar.
Not to mention this isn't a "where they will be drafted" prediction ... these are just two sources rating/ranking the top X number of draft eligible players in college football
Amen. I posted this earlier. The Cornerback position in this draft is weak. I wouldn't draft Haden, Dowling, Trevard Lindley or anyone else in Round 1; I like Brandon Ghee out of Wake Forest in Round 2. A guy like Javier Arenas intrgiues me because he is multi-talented. Patrick Robinson is overrated in my eyes. Luckily for us we got two marvels in Vontae Davis and Sean Smith last April...
Bruce Carter is a friggin awesome linebacker. Instinctive, high intensity playmaker! If we switched to a 4-3 I'd love to have him if our offensive targets are gone. I said before the year started that Morgan was a possible top 10 pick, but now he looks like he could be top 5. He's almost as much of an impact player as Suh and Berry, and I'd definitely switch to a 4-3 for him and Wake together!! Holy crap!! What a nightmare they would be!! I still feel he could potentially play hybrid. If guys like Woodley can do it, so can Morgan. He's the best overall DE of the past 2 drafts IMO. Posted via Mobile Device
having a guy like Arenas can only make you better. I'd be very happy getting him in the 3rd. Posted via Mobile Device
Small college Db's to watch for us are Scot McGee and Kelvin Rogers. With Db's this season I'm trying to keep an eye on those that are good prospects who can also return punts and kickoffs.
They are both midgets who give up completions lol. As I said in another thread, Robinson doesn't look any bigger than Syd'Quan Thompson to me.
Yep, Carter is very good. A seriously underrated 1st round talent. He's outplaying his much more heralded LB mate in Quan Sturvidant.
I didn't mean to imply that Robinson has size going for him. He doesn't. He looks smaller than his listings to me. They're both small but to me Haden looks more wafer thin.
