I'm looking for a good FPS, the videos on youtube look pretty sweet. Any detractors?

It’s a solid game, though I wouldn’t call it spectacular. Honestly, the best FPS game so far this year is Portal 2.

seems to be more of a puzzle game than a shooter, from the video I just saw... graphx are impressive though.

Yes, it’s a puzzle game with a gun that doesn’t shoot bullets. But it’s still the best first person anything available so far this year, and I would recommend it (and its co-op mode) over Killzone if we’re just strictly talking quality and fun.

I have killzone 3 and I stopped playing it. It's pretty generic IMO. I'm playing crysis 2 now and I like it better.

Crysis rewards stealth and gives you powers. You can get a little more creative.

The sound looks really good (yeah that doesn't make sense) in the clips I've seen. IMO the sound is just as important as the graphics. That's why I loved MW2

So I ended up ordering this one via amazon, used version for around $32 IIRC, which saved quite a few $. And I'm happy about that as the game is certainly not worth paying full price (most games aren't). I finished the campaign in about a day and a half, approx 6 to 8 hours of actual gameplay. Good game if you are looking to kill some time. I have not looked at the multiplayer version yet.
