I didn't think they were really hurting there too badly before. I don't think either Dansby or Burnett were slouches as either pass rushers or coverage guys. Interestingly enough looking at PFF's Pass Rush Productivity metric, Ellerbe is #1 among interior linebacker and Wheeler is #2 among 4-3 OLBs.
I didn't like Burnetts game, he was a light player with no power or explosiveness, 5 sacks and 1 int in two years, over thirty, time to go..also found it strange in the offseason when I heard him in an interview *****ing about learning another defense for the third year in a row.. His average game is why I wanted Dion Jordan..guess we weren't all good at the position.
