My embedding skills are on point..all I did on that one was replace the m with www.

Anyways, kid can really leap and fly around and sh&$, I really like the demeanor and nature he plays with..

Maybe another player we could move up and get if we go playmaker at 12, try to balance things out, who knows at this point ya know, I just like these videos.

You can see that kind of athleticism on film. Just as a note, it should tell you just how much quicker Tavon Austin is, because Vaccaro did a decent job of keeping him from making big plays, but he couldn't stay with him on his route.

They didn't even get into Vaccaro's ball skills which are pretty significant. He catches the ball very well.

I'm a big Vacarro fan. I have him in my top 15 for this draft. I know he's not a popular choice here for us, but I wouldn't be upset if we picked him. I still have Austin as my top pick and most likely choice, but I would be happy with Vacarro especially if we added one of my other favorite WRs in this draft later (Hopkins, Bailey, Swope).

Top 15? Hm. I have him as a late 1st, early second but maybe I should have another look. I saw very little of him.

What do you think elevates him to top 15? To me, that's a guy with Pro Bowl potential, as opposed to 'decent starter'.

I would love to have Vaccaro at #12. He would upgrade our D in so many ways with the speed, coverage skills and taking the ball away.

Not sure you noticed Rafs, but there was an interesting measurable that had Hopkins name come up, the vertical from a running position, Vaccaro hit like 41, but from all that they tested Hopkins was in first with a 44 inch vert..boy can go up and get it on the run.

The beauty of what the Dolphins have done this offseason and how many picks they have, Vaccaro is one of many players I'd be happy with at 12.

I don't see how he is anything exceptional when it comes to forcing takeaways.

Apparently he's not athletic and he's got no speed. Yet they're making a sports science on his speed and athleticism.

    Who knew.

    WHO KNEW?

I think he's a disrupter with elite athletic skills. I liked CK's comparison to Reshad Jones. I did not love the Jones pick b/c I didn't think he'd ever learn to play back. I thought Jones was a disrupter at the line but was only good playing forward. IMO Vacarro is better as a disrupter at the line and far better than jones was at playing back. Vacarro is also a more explosive athlete. I don't know what his combine numbers were (and don't really care), but on the field he had phenomenal change of direction. I wasn't surprised by the sports science section that said he had better change of direction than Peterson did last year. I do think he can be too aggressive at times and take some poor angles, but he's better than Jones was at the same point. I think that Coyle does a really good job of teaching Ss what to key off of. That's my guess as to why Jones made such a jump. I see Vacarro as a more dynamic player than Jones was. I think the combination of Vacarro and Coyle could be special. Vacarro has top 5 at his position potential. I also think Vacarro could potentially be the best coverage S in the league. I just see him as an incredibly versatile player. My only real knock on Vacarro is that I don't think he catches all that well.

I noticed that too. I could easily see Hopkins being one of those guys that blossoms in the NFL. I just think he's an excellent football player. And I think people under estimate his athleticism.

I was actually referring to Earl. I remember Rafael being very high on him.

I still think if we want a safety in this draft there are better options; especially when you consider where you'd have to pick Vaccaro. To me he isn't worth the 12th pick, he can double well as a slot corner but he bites much too often on play action and isn't a reliable half field defender.

Cyprien is a little better imo and will likely be available in the second, but my favorite safety in the class in terms of value might be D.J Swearinger, especially as the biggest knock on him seems very coach-able.

Dion Jordan is an outside linebacker dying to get out..don't matter the scheme, his talent is universal..bring him down on the line on third down..freak..

That's right. I see no reason that Jordan couldn't play 4-3 Sam better than Misi does.

That's my thinking too. If we want a safety, we could probably get Elam at 42, and he looks at least as good as Vaccaro to me.
I also like DJ too, and he maybe available in the 3rd round.

They're different styles. Thomas is a natural FS. I think that he would be better in a system that uses SS/FS designations. But in a left/right system Vacarro could be a better fit opposite Jones.

I'm not in love with Elam, he takes too many plays off for my liking though he can be a real disruptive force at times. I don't think this safety class has any real nailed on first round picks in it and safety is not enough of a need for me to want to reach for a player there, especially at 12.

In respect to Dion Jordan he's a 3-4 outside backer, anywhere else and you're wasting him

I agree about the safeties in general.
I think Jordan is a lot more versatile than you are giving him credit for.
