Hey guys just finished chatting with coach Tony Sparano and he said that LB Kelvin Smith, the seventh round pick out of Syracuse last year, sustained a serious knee injury Saturday night.

The shame of it is it came on a punt return near the end of a meaningless game. On the bright side, Smith was probably going to get a visit from the Turk anyhow, and know he'll get an injury settlement when they eventually place him on IR.

Charlie Anderson, one of the projected starting outside linebackers, strained his left hamstring dropping back into pass coverage. Coach Tony Sparano said the four-year veteran will at least be held out of today's practice.

Sparano added Anderson's status is "day-to-day."

Damn, not good. Anderson suffered a pulled hamstring and is out Monday according to the report.

I thought Anderson was playing really well. He certainly showed som hustle and was around the ball alot. I like his play style...and could see both he and Mosses splitting time. Hope he heals quickly.

I think the only reason should Joey Porter has a sore back is because is he getting use to the games and the works during the day he should be fine. That sucks about Kelvin Smith though I was really cheering for him. I hope Anderson gets better though

I hope they don't rush anderson back this week if he's not ready.
