I'd think against NE our best bet would be Carpenter with Dansby inside. Compared to Chowder or Dobbins, Carp is a veritable Ronnie Lott in coverage.

 

I think at this point, our ONLY hope is Carpenter.

Quite unfortunately, the game he played against Minnesota is the ONLY good game he has had since being in the Pros.

What we really really need is to clone Dansby. That cat does it all.

This is where Edds would have made an impact...thanks to Simon for educating me about Edds.

Dobbins is still a better athlete than Crowder...but he is really just a run-stuffer...something we really dont need against the Patriots

Mendenhall: 332 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 5.1 YPC; 3 rec, 18 yards, 0 TD, 5.0 YPR.

Yeah, McFadden has been more productive than Mendenhall through three weeks.
