Justin McCareins has reportedly become new Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger's "favorite receiver" this offseason. McCareins is looking like a lock to start with Justin Gage opposite him. He'll be comfortable in an offense he knows, but McCareins still isn't a great bet for more than 55 catches. McCareins return, Gage and Roydell, plus Crumpler should give Young a lot of options. If he can't make it work with them, maybe he should just quit because our group of QB's would be lucky to have them.
McCareins was Dinger's favorite receiver for the lone season he was here as well. McCareins flat out just blows. The guy has pretty good speed and great height, but he has no hands. Stonehands. He dropped every single crucial ball thrown to him the past two seasons. Good riddance. Its a shame the Jets kept him as long as we did. He's a waste of space, a waste of talent.
