It's a nuts that grows on a tree. It looks like the eye of a buck. hense the name. There was one across the street from my house growing up. They make great slingshot ammo.

I am originally from Oregon and have never lived in SoCal.

One of my earliest memories of sports came in 1988 when Gibson cranked that homerun. Living in Oakland at the time, I had heard nothing but A's, A's, A's. I saw the anger and sadness this Gibson fellow brought everyone around me, and I instantly fell in love with the franchise.

The Lakers were so dominant in the 80's that it would have been foolish and dumb NOT to like them and it has always stuckk. And when I started watching Hockey, Gretzky had taken the Kings to the finals (to get stomped by Patrick Roy and the Canadiens) so I picked them up as well.

I have no real reason for liking the Dolphins. I just do.

No love for NorCal teams especially the Giants, Niners and Raiders.

I root for the A's and Warriors to do well, but not at the expense of my primary teams.
