LOL. Karaoke is just a side thing that people do.

Tokyo is great. The trains are easy to ride (although they can get packed in peak travel times) and there's lots to see. It's just a bit expensive.

Within 3 hours of Central Tokyo (and there are several "centers") you can do just about anything you want to from clubbing to snow skiing.
