Why do you work at that Publix If you live on the other side of town?

 

i knew a guy that used to buy a burger from mcdonalds, then go to taco bell and get cheesy fiesta potatos, then drive to wendys to get $1 menu nuggets.

 

that publix is only like a mile away from my house.i take rock island to mcnabb west, then make a left at university and BAM! im right there. i dont work at the one thats by pine island if thats the one youre thinking of.

 

If they cut your hours that means they want you to quit. I used to work for Publix back in the day. First ever job, actually. I worked for the one in Coral Springs, Ft. Lauderdale (17th), Lighthouse Point, and Deerfield. Good times..met alot of honeys there......

 

eh, not really. they just wont give me fulltime. they got working in both frozen food and dairy. and this upcoming week im covering someone for Housewares. they just want to milk what they can out of me UNTIL I quit.


and Ive had my share of honies from there

 

There are actually 2 Publix within a mile radius of Pine Island. One is considered "Sunrise West". The other is Commercial and University only about a 1/2 mile away.

When I think of Margate I think of Sample Rd...

ya and i work at that commercial and university one. been there about 3 years now.

i lived in margate for a bit. i live in north lauderhood for now.

 

from what i hear, there used to be "extracirricular activities" taking place in the old upstairs breakroom at my store before i got there. now i just go to their place and do my thing. monday night i had yet another experience with a former coworker, and man, she was worth it. you dont know how long id been waiting to hit it.

 

You should transfer to the Sunrise one right down the street. Its bigger and is always packed. Im sure they could give up the hours

I couldnt find a parking spot there the other day it was so busy.

This is why I love South Florida though, the Publix YOU work at seems to be nothing but white trash and hatian customers.

Yet the Pub 1 MILE away is nothing but old jewish folks

Dude you ever seen some of the cashiers man? They work all the frickin time so I'm there only option.....its a win...win....

i looked into that but the schedule there for stock clerks wouldnt work for me. we have to go by what time we get deliveries and it just wouldnt work for me. plus theyre cutting back on fulltimers.

the one i work at is a mix of old jewish folks(theres a ton, come during the day!), haitain, jamaican, and white trash. theres a few middle class looking people there, but you also have to remember lauderhill is just one the otherside of commercial. i actually dont mind my haitain coworkers, but i basically get along with everyone.

trust me, ive got lots of stories to tell.

 

i didnt realize that i was attracted to black girls until i started at publix. mostly because thats all there is to choose from.

the girl i just mentioned used to be a publix cashier and we worked together. shes a haitain goddess, she tried modeling for a while. right now shes working for a law office. i could give details of our encounter, but i dont want to violate the TOS.

Woke up this morning to see my front door wide open. I was thinking, great, I have been robbed again.

Turns out, when I got home at 1 in the A.M. last night, I forgot to lock the door and it blew open during the night. Luckily, I have a rottweiler and I'll be damned if she was sitting in the doorway looking out when I saw this this morning.

She must have heard the door open and took it upon herself to stand guard until I woke up. Thats awesome. Maybe I will feed her today afterall...

good story i heard on the radio.....2 pit bulls attacked a Chinese women when she was walking home from work....the radio host bumped in and said

"well thats dumb the dogs will just be hungry again in an hour"

 

Rotts are my favorite breed of dog. I had a one that died a couple years ago. ***** lived about 14 years which is a few years longer than the expectancy of a Rott.

Mine was very protective...must stop...getting misty...
