No, I dont think I will ever go to a jets home game again bro. I absolutely had a blast in Hanover, but honestly had a miserable time at the stadium. Most of the Jets fans were real jerks. I mean come on, we were both 0-2 at the time, its not like either of us were breaking records, or anything. There's a difference between getting heckled and just plain getting harassed. One guy was there with his daughter when someone above us threw a drink on his daughter trying to get to a dolphins fan....just left a bad taste. But like I said, what I saw of Jersey I loved, cept the Jets, of course.

 

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Something about the Jets-Dolphins rivalry that brings it out in people. Where I sit, I've only seen one bad incident however. Most of that crap goes on in the Upper Level. The funny thing is, the one incident I saw in my section that was bad was during a Jets-Saints game. Two guys come rolling iinto the stadium in Marino jerseys during a 4-12 Jets season (2005). Bad idea.

If you ever change your mind, I'll have a ticket in my section waiting for you with your name on it. I know most of the people around me, as they're all usually basically the same, and you'll be treated just fine.

Infact, the Miami game is the only game I havn't sold my second seat.

 

Yeah count me in the been there done that category as well. Went to week 3's game last year with (with enforcin and a bunch of others from this site). stayed in Ne wJersey, almost got hit by a guy crossing the interstate, laughed at the bums in Manhattan...you know, typical tourist stuff.

 

Bro, I was there too, you guys weren't exactly innocent. Skeet was popping off at the mouth drunk as a skunk. To top it off, his comments weren't even good. Dolfan984 was yelling every time Miami got a first down and a bunch of you spray painted your hair traffic cone orange before walking through the gauntlet.

Not to mention that I sat next to Rodeny who had a freaking FIN sticking out of his shirt. I almost kicked our asses.

Thank god for the Dolphins skank who rubbed my back, flashed her panties and invited me down to Miami for some "fun" in December. Otherwise I might have had to disown you guys.

Personally, I had a good time. Sure Miami lost and we were heckeld (read YOU guys were heckled. I am cool with the Jets fans) and it was way too hot, but it was still fun.

 

Well now that I know the whole story, its no surprise you guys were heckled. When you're the visiting fans you need to keep your mouths, for the most part, shut. You are around loud, drunk, pissed off Jets fans and the Jets-Dolphins rivalry speaks for itself. Not a good combination.

 

You see what you guys have reduced me too? I am agreeing with the Jets fan...

 

The funny thing about this is that I was planning on coming on here and bragging about how my girlfriend and I just had hot sex (true story as it is 100 degrees where I live, currently). But apparently our stank permeated the computer!

It is not canceled. The person I was to interview next has some other things to tend to first, so I will probably move on to the next person.

Plus I have been super busy at my actual job so the fun stuff takes a backseat unfortunately.

Actually, it's part of a sweet flex time deal my employer has going on. I work 7:30 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. every day so that every other week, I get Friday off.

BTW ... Sam can take me out to dinner and ask me anything he wants. If he's buying.

 

Doc is this due in part to the "Gas Price Crisis"? Certain businesses here in Dade County are going to a flex schedule to give a day off. I tried to talk my CEO into it, no dice

 

Nope. Our flex time actually went into effect last summer, as did the option to work partially from home. No way I'm doing THAT however; I'd never get anything done.

 

Right on. I would KILL to work from home. They let this chick here do that because she moved (and they really liked her) and she actually hates it.

I get calls from this broad twice a day complaining about how bored she is. I often fantasize about telling her how much I hate her... it makes the day go by quicker

So went to starbucks on the lunch break. Got hit on by the college chick working there...awesome. Sure she was a little mentally unstable, but she was hot and she was sucking a lollipop. Something about a grown woman sucking a lollipop......oh and I have come up with a perfect solution for people with torrettes, by a bluetooth, people will think your on the phone.

 

What did she say or do that made you think you were getting hit on? Dont forget they do accept tips at most Starbucks
