Not quite sure what you are saying here but if you are saying that playing games takes talent, skill, and coordination I have to disagree. I consider myself a hardcore gamer and I see no talent in what I do, its just my hobby. I hit buttons and yeah maybe I have good hand-eye coordination but that's about it.

Maybe that isn't what you are saying but that's my two cents.

 

Guys...I am a drummer. I also happen to own three guitars and play those asvwell (on occasion)I know a thing or two about music and what goes into creating it. I also enjoy Guitar Hero. Why? Because its a ****ing game. Games are fun. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have to laugh at people who knock it, or its users by saying they could just pick up a real instrument and learn how to play that. Clearly you don't get it. THEY DON'T WANT TO LEARN AN INSTRUMENT, THEY WANT TO PLAY A GAME. At least for that moment in time.

They don't want to be in a studio, or write real music. They want to button mash and unlock new songs (levels). I swear, its like some people feel that guitar hero users are going to render regular guitars useless or something.

Newsflash: They won't.

 

I am saying the games are pointless to me because why play a fake instrument when you obviously have interest in playing a real one. I get your lazy argument but I know people personally that really think they are playing these games and could easily play a real instrument, which I find strange.

Like I said before some people feel all video games are pointless but I just happen to find this one type of game pointless. Video games are for fun and so people should play them if they are fun but I will never get it.

LOL @ people who hate on Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Its not like its super easy to beat these games on the expert levels.

 

Alot of my friends are in bands and stuff like that, and its usually an actual guitar player that blows at guitar hero, they pout and say "This game sucks, play a real guitar!"

Its quite amusing, and the opposite end of the specutrum is equally hilarious, when these little pricks think they're the **** because they kick *** at Guitar Hero/Rock Band.

 

I got news for ya. Any little douche is really good at any game usually thinks they are the **** just cuz they can pwn you at that game. It doesn't make me loathe the game.

I regurlarly get owned at Madden, Gears of War, Call of Duty, and I laugh at the little ****ers who sound like their balls haven't even dropped yet talking **** to me.

go to a local sports bar and watch the Miami game like I'm getting ready to go do.

 

I'll be doing that a little later. Gonna leave around 3. (the head still hurts a little from all the drinking watching the UFC ppv last night)

 

good show overall. Loved the Rampage fight. And anyone can "bag" on video games, etc. all they want usually when people call things "dumb" its because they cant do it or arent good at it. Like I said before, I do in fact have a guitar and play it , poorly but I do. I play football games as well, and I also have played it in "real life" its a reflection of my real life passions that I dont ness. get to do all the time, so I do the alternative. And anyone who doesnt want to rock out to "on the Road Again" is out of their minds....

They are all ecstatic that Mangini is gone. Most are clamoring for Bill Cowher. That would honestly, scare me. Here is hoping he tells them to F off like he did to Cleveland.

Cowher is great, but he shouldn't get all the credit for his success in Pittsburgh. Look at all the great coordinators and coaches he had while there that helped him. As long as the JEST continue to make boneheaded decisions (ala Favre, releasing CP, overpaying way too much in FA creating a salary cap hell) I don't care who coaches them.

im literally in tears right now......i hate this economy...and i hate money issues...

i had a ticket lined up for the phins/ravens game on stubhub.com with a guy....

but i just cant afford to make it down there...dont have the gas money...nor the money for a ticket and parking....after an amazing season...i feel like puking, i was gunna see my buddies, my friends, my uncle....but now, because of green paper...i gotta watch the game in nc on a television....i am completley upset and depressed...i might be off here for awhile...i just....hate every ****ing thing right now.....

Honestly, I would rather watch the game from the comfort of my own home. I hate traffic and if M iami loses, it makes for a LOOOOOOOONG walk/drive home.

I would prefer to drink myself stupid and pass out on the couch.

 

yeah that would be the WORST 10 hour drive home EVER....

guess when you put it that way though.....its not so bad...
