Yeh PMZQ I am jacked. I have worn phins stuff for 3 days straight. I went to a conv. store on the way to work this morning at 3AM...yuck...and the cashier asked me "If I was a Dolphins fan?". I dont know what clued him in on that, the hat, the necklace, the shirt or the wallet I pulled my money out of all Dolphins apparel.....

 

When I was about 12, I was wearing one of those Reebok reversible jerseys for Dan Marino. Anyway, a friend of mine and I went to Togo's (sandwich shop) for lunch and we were uber tired. This crazy lady comes up to me and goes, "No way! Dan Marino! You're great man!" She then insisted on my autograph.

I kept trying to tell her the obvious, that I was just a kid wearing a jersey, but she wouldn't hear it. I tried reasoning with her, that, if I was Marino, would I really wear my own jersey out in public, but again, no go. Finally, I just gave up and said that I was Dan. To which she replied, "You're not Dan Marino!" Then she left.

The point is, stay away from the Togo's in Dublin, CA. Apparently the crazies go there.

Never understood Guitar Hero and Rock Band when the real instruments have been around forever, take real talent and work, and are useful in life. Seriously why play fake instruments when you can play real ones.

Some random stuff but has anyone seen Marly & Me? That movie is a good one and a sad one. I just watched it, very sad in the end and made me think of my sisters dog, whose cute as hell by the way. His name is Cody. Small pup. And Jennifer Aniston being in it topped it off for me, she's the hottest woman IMO. Love her.

Seriously, what kind of question is that to ask why someone plays something? The answer is simple, its a game...duh.

Half of the stuff you listed are fantasy with the closest thing to being reality is playing in the NFL but come on everyone knows the possibility of that is like 1 in a million. As for picking up a fake instrument and spending hours learning how to play on expert I can just as easily pick up a real instrument and spend hours achieving expert on it with close to the same price I would pay for the fake instrument much less the gaming system to play it on.

I understand your point and its valid but I just can't fathom why anyone who would want to play an instrument would play a fake one when the real thing is right there and is soooo much better. Call playing a real instrument a game by playing your favorite songs in the background and learning to play them that way, then after that you can keep growing and will never need to pay for an expansion pack. People can play whatever they want but just as a lot of people call video games in general pointless I will say Guitar Hero and Rock Band are pointless.

A very dumb game that requires no real talent, coordination or skill. It is a simulator and a really bad on too mate. I don't think you quite understand the dexterity and talent that go into being a real guitar player. It takes hours upon hours of practice for years to get really good. I also write music and have been in real recording studios.

Try finding a game that can do that.....
