Ok, now we have brought something into this thread more useless than soccer. A bunch of cars making left turns for 8 hrs straight.....

I always thought he was overrated. He still doesn't have a great arm, and now two years without football he will have lost any little accuracy he did have.

 

Only if you love pitbulls and believe that Michael Vick is worse for killing Pitbulls than Pacman Jones is worse for putting hits out on humans, paralyzing humans, beating humans (women) and I'm sure has killed a few humans as well in his day. If he gets 74 chances, Vick should get a second one.

I think Vick will be confused if he comes back. He will always want to line up as center from being used to being bent over in front of another man.

 

If Brady can do it, so can Vick.

I was going to do some weights but because it was a nice day decided to go hiking for a 8 mile walk up over North hill instead. Watch a bit of the Cricket then make a Beef in Black bean sauce meal with a stir fry. Then its in the bath for a soak before settling down to share time with 24, Phins.com and GLB and a couple of cold beers or a bottle of red wine.

 

I could go so many different ways with Mandy digesting protien...but the new improved E will not.....

I want to expand on that....You know playing in the NFL is a priviledge, not a right, and the NFL should maintain standards. I would sacrifice some athletic ability to know that I have a league of high character individuals that I could trust to play with integrity, to act off the field as decent human beings, etc.

These men are being paid ungodly amounts of money, and that to me is the least respect they should show to their employers. I can't stand the guys that act as if it is their right of birth to play in the NFL and they can do no matter what, because the rules of Society don't apply to them, but only to us "little people".

But you're talking about a sports league in which a guy can get suspended for using an over-the-counter sports remedy or a legal nutritional supplement - but in which a guy like Adam Jones is still eligible to play.

He can get a 2nd chance in society, just not as a football player. That is a position of priviledge. Vick can continue to rehabilitate his image as a buger flipper, but please not making millions of $$$ as an NFL QB. Someone that really deserves that should get the chance. Vick had his, and blew it. Playing in the NFL should be a one shot and out. Its that lucrative, and if the guys realized that it was that precious, they would sit up and take notice.

I think Goodell's tough policy has already started working. There doesn't seem to be nearly as many arrests and players getting into trouble, and unlike I am sure most on the board (I guess I will get blasted) I believe Goodell should get even tougher.
