Didn't finish college. Actually I spent 16 years in the biz, from busboy to restaurant owner and got burned out. This keeps me in the field I know, but the hours are way better. Except for MLK's birthday, dammit!

i just moved up from florida....im excited to see it!!!

Yeah, I hated that about FL - the lack of seasons.

Here we get enough snow most years to be fun, not obnoxious.

 

Take a ride by the beach next time you feel that way. Look at the tranquility of the ocean, the blue skies, the rolling dunes and all the T & A, then tell me you still hate it.

 

well we do get seasons,
problem is, we get all four seasons in one day during official fall/winter and most of the year its pretty much summer.

and theres not much to do all year round(unless you want to go to the beach everyday), and even less during winter because when the temp drops 5 degrees everyone freaks out and everything shuts down.

 

if you dont think theres much to do in florida. i dont advise going to any other state except california, hawaii, and ny lol

I do find it funnah when you see someone wearing a coat and scarf when its 50 degrees out.

 

The first winter away from Florida I kid you not I freaked out. The first major snow and I decided to walk outside to get the paper in my shorts and no shoes, I took one step outside, and never set foot out again for three months.

 

Uh shorts is one thing I've seen that before.

But no shoes?!

If you can get away with that in FL I need to move there.

 

Dude I didn't own sneaks except maybe one pair down there. I walked around in sandals 75% of the time.

I did it for a woman that I am no longer with, unfortunately I ended up with another one that wont leave so....

I enjoy Seattle and will soon be up there on a semi regular basis.
