I refuse to work Sundays anymore.

 

I tried it whe I was 19 and I didnt make it through the first half of the Seahawks Dolphins opening game a long time ago, left at my lunch break never to return..

Ahh the things I do for my Phins.

Part time job or watch my team....

Watch my team. Doesn't even come close.

If the guy had a family to feed... okay then maybe that would be stupid. But when you're 19 and have a part time job, I'd rather just go find another PT job where I don't have to work Sundays.

Thankfully I'm able to take off half the Sundays in the year for Football.

If I couldn't, I'd just gamble.

Hey ... hope you folks missed me. I had a great weekend at a bed and breakfast in the middle of nowhere, then drove like a madman to get back to Springfield for callbacks for a show. I'll be sitting by the phone tonight waiting for The Call.

 

Yeah but I don't like how this could end up......I can see the apocolypse if Mike & Mike are right. I don't want to have to face Tom Brady twice a year and Jay Cutler twice a year. Immediately we are only competing for a wild card for the foreseeable future

I was at that game. If I remember right that was the first post 9/11 game the Fins played.

 

The best post 9/11 game ever was Jets/Pats, 10-3 Jets winning in New England.

That and the Giants win in Kansas City earlier that day.

 

Gee a Jets fans saying a jets game was the best....

 

Only because the local teams won. Brought a lot of people up here.

 

The Giants game made me cry. I'm a man, I can admit it.

 

Substitute the Giants with the Jets and you'll have my story.

Unfortunately, you know, that is the day Mo Lewis knocked Drew Bledsoe (my boy) on his arse and the Tom Brady era began.

So I still cry about it.

 

Pepeprs likely headed to New England.

Jets vs Dolphins for a Wild Card spot the next three years, at least.
