Would you take a look at him?? Or too old?? Discuss... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp08/news/story?id=3511880
Heck, if we are going to bring in Quincy Carter why not him? He pretty much is unhappy about playing time. This guy is a proven performer and a solid veteran.
the article says he is weighing his options and has an eye on broadcasting. i think if he signs anywhere it would be with a contender. if he is going to keep playing at 37, it will be for a shot at a title. i love the way the guy plays the game, but realistically, what's his incentive to playing here?
He's had neck problems and such in recent years. He's got his ring and his legacy. I think he should hang it up while he's still got his health.
no thank you. he's old & injury-prone at this point. he had a great career, but bringing back vets that should stay retired NEVER works.
I knew someone would bring this up. I seriously thought about it and then came to my senses. No. He's the opposite of what we need, he has barely anything left in him and we seem fairly set and safety.
They both play Strong side bro. Neither of them have the speed to play free safety. Personally I can see him going back to Tampa.
