JMO but this how we will upgrade our secondary !

What we know ..............we know we need upgrade at CB and Safetie and we know our FO ( GM + HC) want more younger player, more impact player and more turnover.
IMO 3 guys are in this mold and we could get them in round 2 and 3 of the draft :
- J. Banks CB : look at his tats and tell me this guy isn't à special player................better stats than Milliner in the interception department
- Safetie : Lester or Rambo : here too look at the stats and they could be picked in round 2 or 3.
after June cut, we will add a veteran CB and with Marshall or Patterson (1 of them will be cut), we will be OK and younger.
In addition to that we can draft OL or DE with our first rounder.
Opinions.
sorry if my english isn't very good but I am french finfan
I don't think you can just look at the stats as far as interceptions and what not. I like Banks but if Milliner is there, I'd run up with my selection to the podium. Not saying Banks isn't any good, just that Milliner to me is the better prospect. Rambo I like but Lester is way to stiff for me. He would be interesting in the fourth round on. Going by stats, Phillip Thomas is above both of them to me. Definition of a ballhawk. Again, that's why this time of year is so much fun...lots of different ways to improve the team and it's always fun to speculate.
Lester looked like bad news at the Senior Bowl.
You want to improve the secondary?
Desmond Trufant at 12 (Best CB in this draft and the most intelligent by a long shot)
Jordan Poyer @ 3A
D.J. Swearinger @3B (can play both CB and FS and will mix it up vs the run) or take the Honey Badger Tyrann Matheiu anything after round 4.
Just saying, if one of the top or the top defensive backs, and one of the top offensive lineman and one of the best defensive ends is available at #12 which way do you think they would go? I just don't know, all three positions are needed. One of the positions could still be addressed in free agency or in some other fashion prior to the draft, but they are all three important.

He doesn't play any of those positions.

I understand that. He said if there were one of the top OL, one of the top corners and one of the top DL available which way would we go? Not only from those positions. There will be good players from all of those positions available when we do pick. That does not mean we'll make the pick from any of those positions.

I saw that too...but I believe it was a typo as he then went on to talk about his stats..

That's not what I got from that question. I think he meant which way would we go if say Lane Johnson, Trufant and Star are available.
Maybe you're right, though.

After CKap, I would only draft players with visible tattoos and if they have sleeves, = first round......
