Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that the decision about whether tight end Jimmy Graham would play against the Dolphins in Week One would be made late this week, but the team’s injury report left things up in the air by listing Graham as questionable.
That report was released before the end of Seattle’s final practice of the week and before Carroll met with the media. He provided a positive update on Graham’s status.
Carroll said that he expects Graham to be in the lineup against the Dolphins. It would be the tight end’s first game action since he tore the patellar tendon in his knee during a Week 12 game against the Steelers.
The Seahawks also listed right guard Germain Ifedi as questionable and reports this week were that the first-round pick would miss time with a high ankle sprain. J’Marcus Webb is expected to start in Ifedi’s place in the event he doesn’t get the green light to face Miami.
