Brady is really playing like ***, I'd say its because of the Jets D, but he played like *** against Buffalo.

a career isnt determined by one average game and one good game.

Gotta say: I'm pretty sure the Jets have a better defense than the Bills...

Not that it would surprise me if the Pats found a way to win it, but...

How stupid does that Seymour trade look now?

    And how important is Welker?

    Galloway should retire...

    not that important at all imo......his replacement.....a rookie....had 8 catches for 98 yards, a 12 yard average.

welker is a product of the system/brady

Great now instead of hearing "Tawmmy boy is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack"

We're gonna hear: "Durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 1+1=70 and the Jets are going undefeated".

Welker would of had well over 100 in the same spot... He's a traitor, jackass, blah, blah, blah, but he's a damn good underneath WR who excels in 3rd down situations. He did the same for us with less talent around him.

Pretty good game, good news here in New England I wont have to listen to garbage about Patriots going 16-0. But honestly how do you root for anyone in this game this is like watching Hitler take on Bin Ladin on who do you root for ?

Obviously root for the Jets... Brady will find his groove at somepoint and will crush the NFL. A slow start for NE could be the difference between winning and losing the division. Just a shame they couldn't of started 0-2.

No doubt hes a good player, I loved him when he was here. But any other team he would be just another guy, a Brandon Stokely/Keenan McCardell type.

I am SOOOO tired of hearing this.

He has thrown what? 100 passes in two games? He has been knocked down 25-30 times already? How many passes is it going to take him to get in a groove? I bet he's done for the season before that happens

Did you watch that game? He is scared for his life. He has ZERO running game and defenses (Smart ones) are just gonna pin their ears back and go after him the rest of the way. He is running for his life back there.
He will be very very very lucky to make it 1/2 way through the season.....and I am loving each and every second of it.

Did anybody else notice how much he is missing wide open WR's by? He looks EXTREMLY pedestrian at this point.

Remember all those that were all over his jock saying "Oh, Brady's back, they got Fred Taylor and Joey Galloway, they are already a shoe-in for the Superbowl"..guess what, I dont think they even make the playoffs!
That defense is a complete Joke, and after Tammy Brady is wiped out, they have absolutely nothing. :wink2:

How many TD's did he have?

Welker is a product of how well he and Brady match up as a QB/WR....

Welker would have had 15 catches today, as Brady would have thrown to him instead of wasting time throwing to Galloway..........who is at this point, terrible.

If Welker plays today, Pats win...

You put Welker next to a Randy Moss or a TO, hes going to look above average. You put him next to Reche Caldwell or a even a Laverneous Coles, hes an average WR. Its pretty simple.

This is what's known as wishful thinking. I'd love it to be true, but I don't think it is. Guy missed a year and needs time to bounce back IMO. He still has Moss and Welker. I'm not ruling him done yet. It's a long season...

very happy with this game. the pats are finally pedestrian, and the jets probably wouldve lost if they had mayo and welker. afc east is wide open. i can smell them believing the hype. they should have another marvelous mid season melt-down.

Wrong. When Randy Moss was being a ***** after Brady went down, Welker still played well. Guy catches everything, finds soft spots all over the field, and gets OPEN. Back to back 100+ reception seasons and back to back 1000 yard seasons isn't accidental.

No one is saying he's elite like a Randy Moss, T.O., Fitz, Boldin, Johnson, etc... But he's the perfect slot receiver and def. one of the more talented WR in the league. He would never be "just another guy" like you suggest.

Deion Branch once looked like one of the more talented WRs in the league until he left NE. Just saying.

Of course Welker wouldn't be the same on another team.....

Not the point, it's how well he matches up with Brady and what the Pats do on offense...

Wes Welker's importance on that team is far from over rated...

Clark why couldnt Welker produce when he was here? The fact is on any other team he's a no.3 WR.

The ingrate should be thankful he has Moss on the other side of him and thankful that Marsha is his QB.

I'd trade 4 Teddy Ginn's for Wes Welker......and I'd still feel guilty for ripping someone off.

    Welker didn't produce?

BB wouldn't have went after him the way he did if Welker wasn't productive...

I guess leading the team in receptions (67) and yards (700) during the 06 season (first year as a starter) is considered NOT producing? With Joey Harrington at QB no less. The guy who can't make a team in the NFL...

Wes Welker in 06 with Joey Harrington as QB is statistically better than any WR Miami has... So please spare me the "Welker is lucky to have this or that" bull**** you're shoveling.

Not mention the returning duties and the game in which he kicked a 29 yard FG and an XP for injured Mare. Not really rellevant, but that was bad ***.
