Eh, NFLN production, which means it may not be on half of NFL fans' TV's but still: -Jest coming off of a spanking by the Bradyiots -Broncos coming off of 2 key wins with Tebow at the helm Makes for a fun game, but suspect Rexxy has been around the block long enough to know how to stop a team that runs the ball 55 times a game with 1 Wr flanked outside with Revis on them. But for all of the focus on Tebroncos, the Sanchize has been playing like cowflop, LT is out for the Jest, which means Joe McKnight can continue his transformation into Leon Washington Jr, but Von Miller has been destroying Tackles this yr, Wayne Hunter is coming off of horrible game vs Andre carter, this one figures to be a low scoring affair.
Jets Keys to the Game: -Stop the Run -Kick a field-goal or two Broncos Keys to the Game: -Get to the QB --> he will give you pick-sixes -Defensive takeaways / Scores
I do not get NFL Network. I can't go to a bar, cause I have to babysit the little Gardenhead. Anyone who can share a live stream would receive sincere handshakes and backslaps from me. PM me. Thanks!
The zone read is an option offense that forces the D to be disciplined. The Jets are handicapped by coming off of a short week against an offense they have not faced. They literally had one day to get their players to remember stuff they probably haven't used since college. My guess is that Ryan will say screw playing the option and opt for heavy blitzing since that is something they have done a ton of. The Broncos will probably have to get outside the tackles to be successful against that. Picture swing passes or screens called at the right times. Either that or Tebow literally would have to beat them singlehandedly. I don't like their chances since the Jets are a very talented and exceptional blitzing defense. And you have to like the Jets CBs one on one with any of the Broncos WRs.
A point of fact to be fair, including the 3 games Tebow started last year, and the 4 this year, during those 7 games, Tebow has AVERAGED 27 pass attempts per game (13 Completions per game average)
The streets shall flow with the blood of the non Tebow believers!!!! I think Rafi is spot on, but also think the Broncos will adjust to it as the changes they have to make to adjust to a heavy blitz scheme are not that large, and maybe Rafi is overlooking Tebow has a bit of Big Ben in hiim, a 190 Db vs 6'4 250 on a blitz is not a sure win for the Db.
PeytonsHead Peyton's Head I bet Sanchez is happy #TNF is in DEN. Game starts at 6:30 there, which means he and his g/f can still make the Midnight showing of Twilight
I'm not overlooking that. That was why I mentioned the part about Tebow beating them almost singlehandedly. I just don't see that as all that likely for any player. There a big strong guys all over the NFL and it's rare that any one guy can physically dominate against defenses set to specifically stop him. It's happened, but those guys have generally had at least some help. I really see the potential help for Tebow from the rest of that team as incredibly limited.
Well, not saying Tebow will singlehandidly beat the Jets, am saying Db blitzes vs a Hillis sized Qb may not be as effective as against say..Matt Moore. And will allow him to make plays down the field.
Watch, Tebow will have a great night, Jets are primed to play run D, even TT will be able to toss the ball.
#3 overall at that, which is one of the reasons why if we are going to take a Qb like weeden, is there anyone like Miller in this draft class?
Mark Sanchez should kill himself for even trying to pull it off. He of all people will never be worthy.
Honestly, this game looks like two of the worst teams in the league are playing. My Cpu went into sleep mode as soon as the 2nd qtr started and I did not feel the need to wake it up.
The jest get so many lucky breaks it is almost supernatural, how many times have we seen crap like that happen?
Padre, you got a new stream feed? The other one got shut down. Would love to see these two offensive powerhouses!
