I don't think he was going for the helmet, if you look closely someone else hits Boldin from the back which causes his head to bounce forward a little bit, then comes the big hit. If the hit from behind doesn't happen, neither does the helmet to helmet IMO. Hope Boldin's ok though.
he had a guy behind him, but that didn't stop the other safety from launching and leading with his head. either way, he was gettin nailed with a dirty shot. and thats not to say it was intentional. just stupid, amature ball.
