I wish he wouldve stayed one more year, thats one more year the Jets would have to wait to get better becuase they were not winning anything with that guy at the helm.

This has gotta make the Penny situiation that much more sour for Jets fans.

Yep. To say the least bro. :D I love how Woody Johnson is covering his butt now by trying to say, "Oh, I knew Brett was only here for a year" "I thought he'd help us win it all this year".... What a clown! I know no one could expect him to play long, but that's not how you go about building a successful franchise. You don't spend all that money on FAs and bring in a QB, whom you know is going to retire after the season, in the hopes of winning a Superbowl and then in the process crippling your teams future. We should know this better than anyone. :D I do wish he would've stayed a little longer so he could have continued to serve us up those delicious picks. They were yummy! :D

man, i am feeling just awful for them....

    just kidding.

honestly, this whole situation is like poking a hornets nest with a stick...you KNOW the hornets are gonna come out and sting your *** but you do it anyways.

we ALL knew favre was going to retire AGAIN after this season, but they signed him anyways. what a waste of a year. to pour salt into the wounds, penny ended up being our shining star!

Scott - have you seen the news up here? I don't think the media is buying what Woody is trying to sell. They are going off on Favre - it's hysterical. This is really going to sully his reputation. What a drama queen.

Not so sure about the "backwards" part.

It was a fun year, full of great games and huge highs. I never thought he would be here for more than one season.

Now we have to go to the stable and see which one of the three young QBs we have will make it.

My money is on Brett Jr. (Ratliff) at 6'5" 225 and did pretty well in pre-season. He should know the offense, playbook and the players.
