The key there is "if Brett Favre retires".

    Which he did.

If he comesback, the Jets will either force him to take a pay cut or release him.

That had to be one of the biggest disappointments in the history of their Franchise. Brett Favre.

id be more worried if it wasn't obvious that Rex Ryan is gonna throw whatever hes got at Ray Lewis or Bart Scott, whoever makes it to FA

Both will make it to FA.

If its Lewis, I'll be furious.

If its Scott, I'll be happy and most Jets fans will be as well, if they're smart. He is only 28 years old and might even come a little cheaper.

The Jets now have $27 million in cap room after dumping David Bowens, Brad Kassell, Brandon Moore & Chris Baker.

They are meeting with the agents of WR Laveranues Coles (under contract) and ILB Eric Barton (UFA) while in Indianapolis, so moves arn't done yet.

  16. Just got a lot higher thanks to the Rhodes and Pace.

Which makes the release of Brandon Moore even more stupid.
