Jenkins praises Jakeem

    Watch near the end of the presser when Jelani Jenkins was asked if any offensive players stood out so far. "...yeah, Jakeem has done an excellent job in that slot. He's probably the quickest player I've ever seen."

    The way he said it was telling...

    Muffled laughter and a smile. Man, I hope this kid holds up and has a legit shot at the slot position. Juice may see more and more time as the #2 due to Jakeem's dynamic ability. All of a sudden bubble screens become entertaining again. Quick slants may become indefensible...

    It's gonna be cat vs. mouse every time Jakeem gets the ball. He's exciting to watch. I hope he can make some plays for us.

    They normally are, cannot understand why the Dolphins decided not to call them. When they actually did, they worked.

    disagree on that. I thought Lazor relied on the bubble screen too much last season. My impression is that is was effective early but our offense became too predictable and teams were focusing on the bubble screen later in the year.

    sorry, I was referring to the slant..... I agree the bubble screens were bad !
