Dammit Philbin. Hopefully Tannehill plays pissed Sunday. He needs a good performance in the worst way.

Joe Philbin getting crushed in the media for this.

PFT: " “Obviously it doesn’t feel good,” Tannehill said. “It creates a lot of stir, a lot of distraction in the locker room — mostly from outside.” Of course, it was created solely from the inside, specifically by Philbin."

Hochman and Krantz just crushing him on QAM. Yeah, the wheels might be coming off.

Train ain't wrecked until we see it on the field.

But as far as the media and public perception of this team goes, yes. They're in the doghouse. And Steve Ross has to be getting tired of this. They were never regarded this bad by public perception under Tony Sparano, until Ross himself blew that one by doing the whole secret meeting with Harbaugh thing.

Tony Sparano did celebrate field goals too much.

Yeah but it was never nationally publicized the Dolphins are a joke stuff like we've seen since the Martin thing.

Well, not until Ross met with Harbaugh and then was forced to give Sparano an extension to appease him. I think that earned us some bad press. So did the first Fire Ireland banner. But I'm actually having some trouble remembering when the first Fire Ireland banner happened.

Any chance this gets out of control enough that we get a coaching change at the bye regardless of whether or not we win?

    Wishful thinking?

Well, you saw the last couple of games, right? I understand what you mean. They were 3-0 at this point last year and look what happened. They could just happen to turn things around, sure, though the signs of trouble are rearing it's ugly head on the field. Combine that with the media circus, I guess it's safe to say, at the very least, the train she is a veering off the tracks. I hope it gets turned around

Let's pass around a hat and buy the Dolphins. All we need is a couple of people with 500 million lying around.

    I am agreeing with you.

Other than saying "OK" during his half time speeches and celebrating every time the Dolphins scored, which includes field goals, Sparano didn't do anything embarrassing.

I do not believe that Sparano's locker room could have had such a bullying scandal. The "leadership counsel" was partly created because Sparano held a tight leash over the locker room and players wanted to have their say.

Philbin has been one embarrassment after another.

I think it happened before the fan told Ireland that he needed to fire himself.

The last few games they got pasted, arguably out-coached, definitely didn't play with a lot of energy...but I'm not sure I've been seeing train wreck yet. You know that when you see it.

Was it the final home game before the offseason where we hired Philbin? Were we just trying to get Jeff Ireland swept out of the building along with Tony?

Seriously. That was to me the turning point. This decision turned us from the franchise to be and into the perrenial bridesmaids. Stuck with the drunk cousin. Not even good enough for the best man. Just happy to get a little before going back to our stupid job on Monday. Its enough to make Hootie cry I tell ya.

Can I hire your cat to put a hit on Ross and Philbin?

    Ways It Could Look:

    1) An absurdly high amount of penalties in a game where the players clearly get out of control as we self-destruct.

    2) Like Joey Porter

If we go by the last sixteen games as a season , we're 6 and 10 .

Sadly he was Killed in Action 5 yrs ago. That avatar is in memory of the craziest f.n. cat in history. He introduced me to my wife, walked on a leash, went swimming and surfing and fishing with me for ten yrs and died attacking a pit bull who had the balls to bark at my daughter. True story. Psycho Kitty. Only life I have ever mourned the passing of. Swear my 4 yr old is his reincarnation.
