Why just fire Henning??? I dont get it...why not just start over with new staff...maybe go get Gruden, Cowher, John Fox, hell maybe Jeff Fisher may be available....gonna be a lot of good coaches out there this year.
because if sparano is, at his worst, a coach who can get us to .500, he's clearly a pretty good coach. Coaches generally are shown the door when their team is 4-12 or 6-10. Which, we could end up 6-10, thats not ruled out or anything. But if we end up 8-8, 9-7? In THIS division? I don't think it would be right to let him go. Though if for whatever reason Cowhers actually interest...
How come nobody brings up Brian Billick? I wonder who Ireland thinks would be the best man for the job?
I don't think that's clear at all, that Sparano is a good coach. And I see no reason that we won't be sub .500 after next Sunday. If you can't beat Cleveland, NY is going to be pretty tough.
Well, New york should have lost to cleveland and The pats did lose to them. But that's neither here nor there. In the end, the only opinion that matters is Ross'. None of us really know how Ross will handle this situation, he's never done it before.
Yeah, we lose to the Jets next week, how many you think will show up (and I can't blame them) for Buffalo ? 35,000 perhaps ? Detroit the day after Christmas ? 30,000 ? Its looking bad. Ross & Dee I think will make a change.
Sparano is not a bad coach? Even if god forbid we tank out and go 6-10- Henning, Rizzi, and perhaps others, but Sparano and possiblr Nolan need to be retained. Cowher and Fisher took awhile to get a superbowl apperance.
