He's only had two games in the league to prove he's exactly the same type of ham he was at that point.
But its a football game bro Of course that game meant nothing he still done in the past. Now maybe he has a depth perception issue and thought he crossed the goaline who knows.
doesn't change the fact the game is just that, a game and shouldn't be taken too seriously, let the players have their fun, within reason.
After business is taken care of, I have no problem with celebrating. Like I said I like it. After it's taken care of. Desean when streaking to the end zone should have been thinking "get to the EZ and score get to the EZ and SCORE!" Its his 2nd game, would have been his 1st TD. Instead he was thinking, "let the ball go as soon as I get there, let the ball go AS SOON AS I GET THERE!" It shows where his head is. That is not acceptable. But I disagree it shouldn't be taken so seriously. NFL is a billion dollar industry, and this is these guys jobs. maybe us fans shouldn't take it so seriously, but the employees should.
Then you havent watched football enough. Might explain your stance on all of this. It's happened several times. The fact this kid did it on his 2nd game, for his first TD ever, shows his character. Nobody is arguing against celebrations. I think we all can enjoy a nice funny celebration. It's hard to score a TD in the NFL. But it's not a celebration if there is nothing to celebrate.
What an absolute Asshat. This is like watching a guy scoring from third on a long fly ball only to trip and fall 5 feet short of homeplate and being tagged out. Absolutely rediculous.
i agree it was an idiot move, but to call the guy a primma donna is extreme to me. i agree that they need to take it seriously in the sense they need to give it all they got 100% of the time, but i have no problem what so ever with them having some fun celebrating, and the OP gave me the impression he doesn't like it when players do a celebration and wants them all to be barry sanders.
He's had one chance to score and he blew it with his celebrating too soon that's 0-1 in my book. I don't like showboating. I don't like choreographed stuff. I can't stand holding the ball out toward defenders, high stepping into the end zone or anything that's a distraction from the game. Breaking out markers, pretending to videotape the other team, dancing on the center logo etc...It bugs me when they do funky little crap to celebrate an otherwise mediocre play. Basically if they do anything that they had to pre-plan at any point I think it's a shame because that is energy they should be using on the game. Things like the fact that Jackson was so eager to get to the back of the endzone and dance that the fact that he dropped a live ball was not even on his radar. I don't mind at all player celebrating with each other, high five, hugs, pats on the back etc... in the moment right after a score. Raw emotion is wonderful and should be a part of the game - theatrics and pre-planned celebrations should not.
um i have sunday ticket and have for like 7 years so i watch football every sunday...now if you could name another instance ill be happy to hear
pri·ma donna (prm, prm) n. 1. The leading woman soloist in an opera company. 2. A temperamental, conceited person. No he's not there yet. Just dumb and cocky so far. But some Fantasy fans might argue for #1!
opinion's are like a-holes, everybody has one. get over it! If you don't like the opinion of someone on this board ignore them!
