http://www.miamiherald.com/1190/story/325847.html It may be now or never for Dolphins Sunday's game against the also-struggling Jets is the Dolphins' best chance to finally get a victory and avoid a winless season. Posted on Fri, Nov. 30, 2007Digg del.icio.us AIM reprint print email By ARMANDO SALGUERO asalguero@MiamiHerald.com This is the one. This is it. This is where that pothole-lined dirt road to winless must end. The Dolphins play the Jets on Sunday, and if the locals can't win this one -- against a team with a poor record and a quarterback controversy, against a team that also is without its best linebacker and has a longer injury list -- then the chances Miami will win at all in 2007 practically vanish. The Jets limp into Sunday's game with a 2-9 record, and while that it still better than Miami's 0-11 mark, it is certainly more palatable than the combined 24-20 record of Miami's final four opponents. So Sunday offers hope. Sunday could be the sunrise after a six-month Alaskan night. Sunday could bring Miami's first reason to cheer this season and first victory since Dec. 10, 2006.
Trouble is, we only came close to beating the Jets last time because of Ronnie Brown. We don't have Ronnie Brown this time. Maybe the Jets suck even more than our last meeting.
Well the final 4 are 24-20, but if you remove NE, then the three without them are 13-20 so not as bad as Armando makes it sound. We will be winning one of our last few games, maybe more than one. Can't wait for this weekend!
